ReEnergy Holdings Appoints James B. White as Director of Energy Operations

Latham, NY – ReEnergy Holdings LLC, a Latham, New York- based renewable energy company, has named James B. White as its Director of Energy Operations.

Mr. White is responsible for ReEnergy’s health and safety program and the operation of all of the company’s energy assets. He joined ReEnergy after five years in leadership roles with NextEra Energy Resources, a clean-energy producer with 15,000 employees in 28 states and Canada and North America’s largest generator of renewable wind and solar energy.

“Jim has a long and distinguished track record in energy facility management, and has demonstrated the ability to improve safety, productivity, revenue and profitability,” said Larry Richardson, founder and Chief Executive Officer of ReEnergy. “Most important, he has proven experience in managing effective and industry-leading health and safety and environmental compliance programs.”

Mr. White, a resident of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, said, “I’m excited to join a dynamic company that is focused both on improving existing and developing new energy sources to meet society’s needs and on respecting the environment. Our mission is to manage our resources so the health and safety of our employees and our climate, air, water and land quality are protected.”

Mr. White, who has a degree in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and an MBA in Management from Bentley University, worked a decade for American Ref-Fuel Company in Newark, New Jersey, where he was Plant Manager before joining NextEra.

ReEnergy acquires and manages solid fuel renewable energy facilities in the Northeast. The company, a portfolio company of Riverstone Holdings LLC, owns facilities or has acquisitions pending in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine.
