Aroostook County, ME – December 22, 2014 – The employees at ReEnergy Ashland and ReEnergy Fort Fairfield biomass facilities purchased more than 70 toys this holiday season to benefit the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

“At ReEnergy, we feel it is important to work with our neighbors to make our communities stronger,” said Facility Manager Mark Thibodeau. “Charitable giving and involvement in community groups is a central part of our commitment to our neighbors. This was a very rewarding experience for our northern Maine team.”

The value of the toys was estimated at approximately $1,000.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
