ReEnergy Black River Retrofit Project Wins ABC Award for Construction Excellence

Fort Drum, NY – Cianbro, the general contractor for the 2012-13 retrofit of the ReEnergy Black River facility, was honored in March by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Cianbro earned the National Excellence in Construction Awards in the Industrial category for the retrofit project.

The Excellence in Construction award honors all construction team members, including the contractor, owner, architect and engineer and projects are judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety and cost. Ainsworth James, ReEnergy’s director of engineering and construction, attended the awards ceremony and was recognized along with the Cianbro team.
